The CFP® Professional Competency Examination (PCE) is one of the certification requirements for obtaining the CFP® designation. The approved qualifications for access to the PCE are the Postgraduate Diploma in Financial planning and the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Financial planning.
The PCE is written in one day over two sessions of three hours each. There is a break in-between the two sessions. This is an open-book examination that is written at selected venues.

The examination is scheduled for the 13th February 2020.
Registration closes on the 30th January 2020 at 16h00. This means that all documentation and payment must be made on this date.
Registration fee is R3090. An increase in the registration fee is expected in December 2019.
It is advisable to first contact firstname.lastname@example.org should your company be responsible for payment.
The registration process is complete, once you have uploaded certified copies of your identity document and qualification and provided proof of payment to email@example.com.
All registered candidates will receive access to the learning portal and the CFP PCE discussion forum to assist with preparation for the PCE.
