Update from FPI Certification

29 March 2020, By Roxanne Lorna Van Blerk, CFP®

FPI Certification would like to highlight the following:

1. The February 2020 PCE took place on the 13 February this year with the results expected to be released the week of the 20th April.

2. The August 2020 PCE is scheduled for the 13 August, registrations will be open end of March 2020.  We are already putting measures in place for the August 2020 PCE to continue If the restrictions that are currently in place to curb the spread of CO-VID 19 continues into the next PCE so that candidates are not adversely affected.

3. Certification has joined an exciting new project A TERTIARY EDUCATION MODEL FOR ENHANCED GRADUATE EMPLOYABILITY & WORK READINESS that is being run by the Cape Higher Education Consortium (CHEC). We are excited to be part of this project that looks at dual education which combines traditional learning and work place learning. This project tackles a possible solution to the countries skill shortage and high unemployment rate. Keep a look out for further communication on this, as this project cannot be successful without the support and input of the employers.

We wish you well during this time and stay safe.
