Nduneni commented on her appointment: “I am quite excited to take on this role as I believe it aligns with my strong passion for advancing financial independence and services to consumers in general and previously disadvantaged South Africans in particular.  It is my belief that the broader socio-economic challenges that our country has to overcome begin with empowering people on an individual basis on how best to manage their finances and plan for their future.  I look forward to contributing to efforts of making financial planning a dinner table topic for every household and all ages.”

Nduneni’s expertise includes strategy development and implementation, this has been proven by her extensive portfolio of successfully developing, executing and redefining policies, programmes, projects and operational processes of high impact across South Africa and beyond.

Key to her success is her creative, forward-thinking ability, forecasting, and strategic business acumen, as well as her in-depth understanding of business environments.

Ntai Phoofolo, CFP®, FPI Board Chairperson said, “I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and welcome Zukisa Nduneni to the FPI Board. We are looking forward to her valued contribution in helping the Institute develop policies and strategies that help achieve its vision of professional financial planning for all”.

“In her capacity as the non-executive director for consumer affairs, Nduneni will play a vital role in ensuring FPI Board, when developing and overseeing policy implementation, has access to a wide range of consumer views to determine what consumers may feel and think of the financial planning profession.  Nduneni’s involvement as a director will definitely strengthen the public’s voice in shaping the evolution of the financial planning profession,” concluded Phoofolo.
