Changes to Regulatory Exam Questions
23 February 2018: Johannesburg
– Did you know that the amended requirements contained in the 2017 Determination of Fit and Proper Requirements
will have a considerable impact on the study material for the regulatory exams?
If you are thinking of or preparing to write your exams, you need to consider the implications of these changes, and consider writing your exams before this change becomes effective, which is 1 April 2018.
If you are a financial service provider (FSP), key individual or representative, then the competence requirements relating to regulatory examinations contained in the amended determination
apply to you, with a few exceptions which can be seen in this document.
The FPI Examination Body recommends that candidates take some time to reflect on this information and its ramifications, and if ready, look at writing their regulatory exams prior to the 1 April deadline.
