Free Subscription for FPI members to the LexisNexis online Financial and Legislation News
In the beginning of 2010, the FPI provided all members with FREE access to all legislation relevant to financial planners through LexisNexis on a customised website http://legs.fpi.co.za. This includes FAIS and FICA legislation and notices which will be of great benefit to members for the upcoming regulatory exams.

Your username is fpi followed by your 9-digit membership number (example : fpi190000000). For those members whose membership numbers start with a 9, please remember to add 19 at the beginning of the number for your full 9-digit membership number). Your password is your email address. If your login fails, please contact us on 086 1000 374 or email membership@fpimail.co.za as we would need to confirm that we have the correct details on record for you.

Members also have FREE access to Current Awareness, an email alert service which brings you up to date on changes in the industry (news and legislation). Please follow the instructions on the customised website, which will enable you to specify exactly what information you want to receive. You can also unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe button on the website. Please note that if you unsubscribe from the email alert service, you still have access to the legislation on the website.
