Frequently asked questions


  1. Respond to a specific FPI event’s email invitation and click on the “register or book for the event” link/button provided on the invite; or
  2. Log into your profile and click on the register button for the event you would like to attend. Should the invoice for the workshop need to be billed to your company, please ensure that you are linked to the company. During the registration process, when you proceed to check out, select “bill company”.
  3. Contact the FPI Centre for Professional Development events team on 011 470 6000 or email events@fpi.co.za.
Log onto your FPI profile on the FPI website and click MY FPI (name) at the top of the page. If you don’t have an online account with us, create one here and then click MY FPI (name) at the top of the page.

This will open up a page with various tabs and you will need to scroll down till you get the tab “My Financials” once you open up the tab all pro forma invoices relating to either membership fees, or orders for events that you have registered for, will be available for you to download.
If you have attended, signed the attendance register and paid for a CPD event, your points, as an FPI member, will automatically be uploaded (usually within two working days after the event). CPD points will not be awarded to FPI members who have attended but have not paid. Only face-to-face events hosted by FPI Centre for Professional Development qualify for automatic upload.
Yes, all event payments (for face-to-face events and online courses) can be made into the FPI bank account, however, please use the correct reference number, as stated in your invoice, to allow us to allocate your payment correctly.

After you have registered for the webinar, you will receive a confirmation email containing the necessary link. To access the webinar, click on the link provided, enter your details (name, surname and email address) and submit. You will receive another email confirming from “GoToWebinar” with a link to use on the day of the live webinar.

On the day of the webinar, click on the link received from the “GoToWebinar” confirmation email and simply join the live webinar.
You can use the same link in your confirmation email and re-enter the webinar. There will also be a recording made available to all registrants via the E-learning platform 24-48 hours later. Please note you can’t use the webinar link once the webinar is finished
All webinar registrants will receive an email the day after the webinar with the relevant link. Click on the link provided and login to the E-learning portal (different login details to your FPI profile) where you will access the recording, presentation and assessment. You will have two weeks in which to submit your assessment. Three attempts are allowed. A 60% scoring qualifies as successful completion and earns you an additional 0.5 CPD point. All assessment points are uploaded after the closing date. Please allow a few days for the upload to complete.
It is still important to register when you receive the invite so that you will be able to view the recording via the E-learning platform after the webinar taken place. If you're within the two week submission period, you can also complete the assessment. Webinar recordings are also available, free of charge for FPI members, under the member resource page. Login using the FPI website login details to access these recordings.
Please note that these login details are different to your FPI login details, these would’ve been sent to you through the E-learning portal before you got the email linking you to the course/webinar. If you forgot these login details, contact the events team on 011 470 6000 or events@fpi.co.za
Face-to-face event
Email the events team at events@fpi.co.za (and use the event name as a subject line) to request a copy or contact them on 011 470 6000. The presentation or course material will be made available a week after the event has taken place.

Webinar
If you did register on for the webinar, you will receive an email the day after the webinar with a link. Click on the link provided and login to the E-learning portal (different login details to your FPI profile) where you will access and download the presentation. Should you have not registered for the webinar, please email the events team at events@fpi.co.za for assistance.

Please note: Not all presentations are made available due to speakers’ intellectually property.
