The FPI takes great pride in the standards of professionalism and integrity of our members and therefore holds the professional conduct and integrity of its members as a primary concern. If a member of the public feels that a member of the FPI has not complied with our Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, we would encourage the member of the public to lodge a complaint with the FPI.
We investigate the conduct of our members in terms of its Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility. As a statutory organisation, we are however not able to order a defaulting member to pay any amounts for damages suffered by clients. We are in a position to suspend or terminate a defaulting member’s membership and right to use our marks (the CFP® mark and various others).
The documents below will guide and assist you in lodging a complaint. Should you wish to discuss a complaint, please contact Adv. Jacqui Grové on (011) 470-6021.
