National Financial Planning WeekMinimize

The FPI ran the first National Financial Planning Week from 26 November to 2 December 2011. The campaign was aimed at educating consumers about dealing with a professional financial planner and getting trusted advice.

To celebrate this first event, we hosted a Consumer Clinic on 30 November in Johannesburg at the Randpark Club. Attendance at the event was free and consumers had the opportunity to get free financial planning guidance from CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professionals, all volunteering their time and expertise. After an introduction presentation, consumers were given the opportunity to meet one-on-one with FPI Financial Planner of the Year winners and finalists who were invited to exhibit.
