The Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) is the leading independent professional body for financial planners in South Africa.Our People
The FPI has a full time staff complement who are based at our offices in Allen's Nek, Roodepoort. We also rely on participation from a large volunteer base of professional members for many of our activities.

The FPI has corporate partnerships ranging from smaller financial planning practices to most of the large financial services companies. These companies promote professionalism and competence and where possible, some of these provide support in the form of sponsorships or partner with us on certain of our activities. Annual Awards
The FPI is committed to recognising excellence in the financial planning industry and awarding those for their outstanding achievements in a number of categories. The most recognised annual award is the coveted Financial Planner of the Year title. In addition, the FPI introduced a new Chairman's Award in 2010 and have introduced a new Media Award in 2011 as well as an annual bursary. Read more...
