The FPI annual awards ceremony is held in conjunction with FPI Annual Convention at the Gala Dinner. The following categories of awards are available:

Financial Planner of the Year
The award recognises the top professional financial planner and also honours outstanding financial planners from across South Africa. This is FPI members’ opportunity to demonstrate innovation, professionalism and commitment to their clients and to the industry. This competition is only open to members. Read more...

Top Student Awards
The award recognises the top students who successfully complete the FPI professional board examination for professional membership of the FPI at the three levels of membership (CFP® professional, AFP™ and RFP™ professional). These candidates write the professional board examinations after completing one of our education programmes through one of our accredited educational institutions. Read more...

 

Chairman’s Award
The award recognises an individual who has made life-long outstanding significant contributions to the FPI through promoting the FPI and its marks or the financial planning profession in the areas of service to society, academia, training, government, media or any other professional activities. They must also exemplify the FPI’s ethics principles of client first, integrity, objectivity, fairness, professionalism, competence, confidentiality and diligence. Read more...

Media Award
The award recognises an FPI member who is actively involved with and has made outstanding significant contributions to the media in the year being assessed (print, broadcast or online) to promote financial planning amongst consumers, the financial planning profession or the FPI and its marks. Bursaries
The FPI  awards an annual bursary to a candidate who wishes to undertake studies for one of the education programmes at one of our accredited educational institutions at NQF Level 7. This bursary aims to promote the CFP® mark. Read more...
